The Zahnd family came to Roberts from the Buckley area in 1933. James F. and Ora (Baylor) Zahnd were the parents of three children -- Anna Mary, Vera Jean and James B. Mr. Zahnd had a dairy and made ice cream for the restaurant. Later he had a trucking business, operated the restaurant, and a cream and produce business. Anna Mary married Wayne Kesting. They are the parents of Robert W. and Janis. James B. married Nancy Thilmony. They have one child and live in Saugus, California. Vera Jean is unmarried and lives in Los Angeles.

Not sure the Zahnd's ran their business from this location. But someone commented on the RIHG page that they may have. More research.
