"These are my 2x great grandparents George August Riemenschneider and Maria Barbara Klingert. Maria passed away in 1887 in Roberts and is buried in the Lyman Township Cemetery. George entered the Ministry of the Evangelical Association of the Illinois Conference in 1874 and retired to Associate Minister in 1887. They had 5 children together; Maria and Emma born in Peotone, Theodore near Mendota, George in Fair Haven Township and Albert in Oswego. Would anyone have any kind of information about the Riemenschneiders?"
"George later married Emma Sonder. They are buried at the Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora, Illinois. They had 2 daughters so George had 7 children overall."
Her "parents were Ciriak and Barbara Klingert and George's parents were Frederick August Riemenschneider and Carolina Ritter. Carolina Ritter Riemenschneider died in Roberts in 1892. I'm thinking she may have lived with her son George and Maria after her husband Frederick's death in 1880."
